Intelligence reports tell Peiper that the fuel he desperately needs can be found just north of the small Belgian town of Stoumont. The Allied response to the massive German offensive has been piecemeal up to now. However, major Allied units are beginning to converge on the area. The 119th Regiment of the 30th Infantry Division has been pushed forward to blocking positions. Can the German forces push forward to locate the much needed fuel supplies? Or will the American forces be able to halt the German advance?
