This stunning artwork is bordered in black to accentuate the early morning hours of 06-June-1944. Elements from the "SETF" Special Engineering Task Force are taking cover near a German Hedgehog beach obstacle on Omaha Beach, while taking heavy fire from the German defenders on the bluffs overlooking the Normandy coastline. The post card back also shows a picture of General Eisenhower, with a portion of his famous order of the day for the Expeditionary Force.
